Not sure if anyone's aware, but Drew's been the 3rd best hitter on the team this season (behind Bay and Youkilis). Yes, better than Pedroia. Drew: .375 wOBA, 13.1 bRAA, .292 EqAPedroia: .361 wOBA, 9.3 bRAA, .283 EqA

I find that fans either really like JD or they strongly dislike him.  Even within my own large family of Red Sox fans there is dissention.  I happen to like him and feel he is criticized too harshsly.  JD is a consistently good outfielder and he's had some incredible hitting...

God he sucks. Why does he keep batting at the top of the order. You don't get called out looking twice in a game. Do that and you need to GTFO! -------- I know, it's frustrating watching him strike out a lot. But he still gets on base, and isn't that the purpose of being in the #1 or #2...

As ridiculous as his contract is, he doesn't suck. He's probably one of the better hitters in the majors (despite the usual injuries and trips to the DL). He's probably the Ben Sheets of batters. 162 game average: .284/.392/.502, Career 129 OPS , 26 HR, 29 doubles, 5 triples, 11 steals.

JD Drew Sucks he thought he was to good to be drafted by the Phillies.Then when he was a Cardinal.I seen him yell at kids that asked for his autograph.Guys like him,Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent are assholes.
