Stephen KingStephen King's Forum Stephen KingJust finished UNDER THE DOME...Loved it really made me think at the end..Thanks SK its been awhile since one of your books kept my attention..actually since Dreamcatcher Stephen KingFor his book named IT that was scary in the movie it gave me 2 months of nightmares I know I'm a bit too old to be scared of scary movies but it creeps me out curse you Jing! Stephen KingFirst let me say I have always been an SK fan, but having just frinished 1000 pages of "It" I feel slighted. The fictional world he creates - the magic if you will - is not consistent or persausive. I can accept any fictional world, provided it follows it's own logic, but... Stephen KingI agree that he's past it, but can any of you douchebags who say stuff like "I wish he'd died" (!) measure up to even writing one book? Nah. You're just irrelevant little net-worms, roiling in the afterbirth of greatness. Even if it's greatness come & gone, anybody who wishes the man dead isn't... Stephen KingLots and lots of propaganda, stereotyping and labeling with lots of subliminal messages. At some point of time in the past he was pretty good though. Stephen KingHe's so unoriginal he's essentially a plagiarist. His tired, dorky expressions reflect just what a dullard and loser he truly is. It was bad enough with his terrible recycled garbage and deux ex machina endings but now he actually goes around crapping on other writers who have the audacity to sell... Stephen KingYou people are crazy, he's a great writer- one of the best at this current time. His stories are far more unique than almost all the stories written today. I admit his old stories were better but that doesn't mean his new stories are garbarge, they're still superior to a lot of other... Stephen KingI read SK as a teenager and his books, along with LeGuin, Bradbury, Mowat, Vonnegut and others, made me want to write. For that I thank Mr. King. However, I am not a fan. I've tried over the years to read other books by SK and am always stopped by some terrible phrase or cliche. He's a... Stephen KingI am his number one fan!
He is a great author, and all you people are dumb..
HES THE GREATEST AUTHOR ON EARTH!
I love his fiction books, they're all great! I have a whole collection of his books at home...
The ending of Cujo was depressing though, when Tad died... his endings are okay... Stephen KingAt least it's not as horrible as Twilight >_>; Stephen KingHe sucks...I cant imagine why it took me so long to stop reading his books....He writes these 1000 page books and fills it with drivel and it bores the tears out of me. He wrote the last 3 Dark tower Books and didnt even care about them.He should have just left them un written. I couldnt be... Stephen KingWell I disagree with you all. Stephen King is a genius of American literature. How dare you insult my intelligence, as well as the intelligence of the other people writing on this forum?!?!?!?!?!? Carrie is his masterwork, and he's a genius. Although I must say that I'm a big fan of IT, I think its... Stephen KingActually you are all stupid
i <3 stephen king
carrie is the greatest thing to ever exist
as is carrie the musical
that is all Stephen KingF*** Yeah. I can read a lot of his stories, but the man f**king sucks at endings. For the Dark Tower, I actually plan on kicking him in the nuts.(not joking either.) he ruined it. The Stand, it was like than what, what happens next. F**king Pet Semetery, He ends up killing the whole family. Mr.... Stephen Kinga lot of his stories end like that. total crap.
I just don't set myself up to expect anything great from his fiction anymore. He's cranking out the same old tired characters again and again and again, just giving them different names. enough already. Take a 5 or 10 year... Stephen KingIt is stuped that he lives in a mansion. Stephen KingI like his non-fiction writing, but I can't stand his fictional writing. The way he executes a story is problematic. Now listen, there's nothing wrong with making up a story as you go along, but the story does have to make sense at the end. King's stories don't make sense at the end. I remember I... |
